City Eye exists to promote film and video culture in Southampton and the surrounding area through its support of filmmakers, a programme of networking events which incorporate screenings, its training courses and workshops and its diverse work in the community on video projects.Since 2008 City Eye has presented the annual Southampton Film Week,a project which brings together a broad range of cinemas, venues, organisations and filmmakers to celebrate film in the city.
