The goal of The Counselors Mentor, Sarah Rivera, is to reach, teach and inspire any mental health professional at any stage of their professional journey. Whether it's through first steps of clinical supervision or big steps into independent private practice. Sarah shares information and knowledge of what it takes to build a successful mental health private practice. During her time as business owner, she learned quickly that "DIY" was the way to go... until she realized how exhausting it was. In an effort to get help in launching, growing and sustaining a private practice, she realized there was little to anything on the local level. That's where the mission of the Counselors Mentor was born, to offer support and guidance to each professional and eliminate the competitive mindset one mental health professional at a time. She believes in sharing and passing of resource and information so everyone can have a seat at the table.
