I am a ceramic maker based in the heart of Northamptonshire, specialising in flower preservation. The individual one-off pieces that I create are handmade from my studio at home.I have always loved art and being creative. My Grandad was an artist, so I like to think that some of my artistic side comes from him. I used to spend hours with my craft supplies as a little girl, and I grew up drawing and photographing the nature around me.The journey for my business began when I found myself fascinated with the qualities of clay as a material at college in 2005, and based one of my projects on trees!Since graduating from University in 2008 with a BA Hons degree in Surface Decoration, my passion for clay has grown. I used my time at Uni to explore and specialise in ceramics and have been continuing to develop my style and brand values from my home studio ever since.I create special bespoke pieces with a story behind them, holding memories to bring people pure joy and everlasting connections.OutreachI started running my own workshops in 2019, and branched out further teaching nature clay projects to primary school children in 2021. I love sharing my passion for nature and clay with others, especially children.
