Matthew Morganwas born in McComb, Mississippi and grew up in Canton, Mississippi (a small southern town who opened its arms to the Movie industry). "A Time To Kill," My Dog Skip" and "O Brother Where Art Thou" are a few movies filmed in Canton. In the fall of 1995 Matthew worked on "A Time to Kill" while in college and got his first taste of being in the industry, and his desire did not stop there.Graduating in International Business and Foreign Languages, Matthew moved to Canada where he could use his language skills (French and Spanish) and eventually opened up his own casting company in December of 2004 in Toronto. Having studied in both France and Spain, Toronto was a perfect, multicultural city in which to start his casting company, Morgan Casting Inc.Matthew specialized in casting real people, street casting and finding those tough, specialty characters not always found though an agency. Nothing was impossible to find, and Matthew was known for his hard work ethic and charming people skills. Eventually he moved into casting actors and focused on commercials and TV series. Finally, Matthew returned to his home state to cast in his hometown of Canton, MS on a William Faulkner Film, "As I Lay Dying," directed by James Franco. Since his first film with Franco, he has gone on to cast another James Franco film "The Sound and the Fury" as well as "Blackbird" starring Mo'Nique and "Big Significant Things" with Harry Llyod.Morgan had come full circle and is doing what he loves most - casting movies!
