Lisa Caramico, MD HEC-C is a pediatric anesthesiologist with 30 years of clinical experience caring for patients of all ages. Throughout her career she has developed a profound passion for end-of-life education and ethics, becoming a dedicated, compassionate advocate for patients and their families.Through hosting Mortality and a Meal events Lisa strives to facilitate open and honest conversations about death and dying, helping to demystify these topics and encourage thoughtful discussions. Her expertise and empathic nature make her an invaluable guide in navigating the complex and often challenging terrain of end-of-life decisions.Lisa is deeply committed to educating others and fostering a culture of understanding and support around end-of-life care in order to ensure that every patient’s end of life wishes are realistically respected and honored.Lisa has a BA degree from Vassar College and an MD degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She currently resides in Fairfield and is employed as an anesthesiologist with Yale University School of Medicine at Bridgeport Hospital Campus. Her administrative duties include Chair of the Ethics Committee of Bridgeport Hospital and Medical Director of Park Avenue Medical Center.
