We are inviting you to this full day workshop where you will learn the art of dry needle felting and create your felted masterpieces to take home. This is the perfect workshop for those who love to blend wool crafts with a bit of art.

What you will learn:

Needle felting techniques as part of the dry felting process. Using specially designed needles you will learn how to get stabbing for artistic effect and understand how to enmesh a range of fibres into images and designs.

Felting is considered the foundation technique for felt makers. Learn the basics of fibre layouts and choosing appropriate materials for your project. Giving yourself the basic skills and confidence to continue your journey of artistic self-discovery and creativity. Felting often becomes an addiction!

At the end of the day, you’ll have a piece amazing artwork of your own to take home as well as the necessary skills for creative felting for here on ever after. The workshop will be delivered by Karen Thomson a felting aficionado and Volunteer Support Worker at ReTweed.

Workshop costs: £42 which includes all materials and tools, plus refreshments. (please note lunch is not included}

The session will run from 10:30am – 3:30pm. Experience Level: Beginners or Revivers.
