A passionate advocate for neurodiversity and late-diagnosed neurodivergent woman, I bring both lived experience and professional insight to my work. My journey through health, social care, and education sectors, coupled with raising a neurodivergent family, has given me a unique perspective on the complexities of navigating life as a neurodivergent woman.Currently completing my Master's in Autism, I discovered my own neurodivergence later in life – a common experience for many women. This personal revelation has deepened my understanding of how neurodivergent women often mask their authentic selves to fit societal expectations. As a poet and advocate, I weave creativity into my approach to neurodiversity advocacy, focusing on empowerment, authenticity, and celebration of neurodivergent experiences. My workshops draw from both academic knowledge and real-life insights, creating spaces where neurodivergent women can explore their identities, share their stories, and embrace their unique ways of being. At 46, I'm passionate about helping other neurodivergent women discover their authentic selves earlier in life, challenging traditional narratives about neurodivergence, and promoting understanding through the neurodiversity paradigm. When not advocating or teaching, I'm embracing the joy of family life and finding fun in celebrating neurodivergent perspectives.Join me in exploring, understanding, and celebrating neurodivergent womanhood in all its beautiful complexity. Nichola :-)
