Ubuntu are four play therapists with a passion to see children be happy, confident and valued for who they are whatever their circumstances or experiences.Ubuntu creates permissive, boundaried spaces for children through play therapy. We create an environment where children have the space, time and freedom to express themselves and feel valued for who they are. This growth is enhanced by our support for the caregivers. Supporting them to become more attuned to the child, and themselves.We mainly provide 1:1 play therapy sessions and 1:1 parenting sessions. Play Therapy is appropriate for children aged from 4 to 12 years of age as it allows them to use play and creative ways to communicate their difficulties rather than just talking.We are looking to expand our business to provide groups and activities for parents and children who may not need therapy but would like a bit of support, advice, or would just like to enjoy being playful with their child.
