For several years, Christopher Baron has been a welcome guest here in Bern, among the tuners of PANArt Hangbau Ltd. From the very beginning, he recognised the unique and valuable potential of our instruments, particularly for music and music therapy. With great courage and curiosity, he embraced the original sound sculpture, the Hang, as well as the newer instruments—the Hang Bal, Hang Gubal, Hang Balu, and the Pang string instruments, among others. Throughout his journey, he has consistently shared his insights, research, and experiences, all of which have been of immense value to the development of these new instruments. In doing so, he has become a true pioneer in this challenging and specialised field.
