Sandro is an Italian photographer and visual artist specializing in experimental portraiture, fashion, and editorial productions. His work blends past and present, using self-assembled recycled cameras and an old large-format camera to create images that are both timeless and innovative . His approach is deeply influenced by literature, particularly the works of Julio Cortázar, and explores themes of identity, emotional dependency, and obsession through layering, time, and mixed media.With a background in illustration, painting, and experimental animation (MA), Sandro crafts highly personalized visuals that go beyond conventional photography. His projects integrate staged photography, animation loops, asemic writing and painting, forming cohesive narratives that merge different artistic disciplines.
