Born out of our desire togather Filipinosin Sunshine to celebrate thePhilippine Independence Daywith thankfulness for the freedom we now get to enjoy. To also band together to express our culture, and honor the country we came from.The organizing committee includes:Aus Study and Migration SpecialistsAccess Accountants Tax and AuditsCreate the Change AustralasiaThe Filipino WorkforcesThecel Richardson Real Estate Needsother Filipino friendsThe first Pasasalamat we did was back in 2024 in the same venue at Meridan Community Centre attended by more than 500 Filipinos, Australians and even other nationalities.Pasasalamat is more than just a celebration, it is a unity and solidarity of Filipinos, an expression of love for the country where they came from and an appreciation of the country they now call home. All proceeds of tickets purchased also goes to Create the Change Australasia, a charity that serves the marginalized sectors in the Philippines.
