Charlotte Crown Black Real Estate AssociationCharlotte Crown Black Real Estate Association is the local chapter of theNational Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB), the oldest minority trade association founded in 1947 to ensure that African-Americans and other minorities received fair treatment in all real estate transactions. Charlotte Crown was chartered in 2004 and has a diverse membership base inclusive of real estate agents, brokers, mortgage originators, attorneys, appraisers, inspectors, property managers and insurance professionals. Members of NAREB are known as ‘Realtists’ and focus on promoting the highest standards of professional integrity. The organization is driven by its mission of democracy in housing and currently has an initiative to increase African-American homeownership by 2 Million over the next 5 years. The strategic vision of NAREB is to rebuild black wealth through homeownership and Charlotte Crown is the local advocate to serve and meet the needs of the Greater Charlotte area.
