Recess En Noire is a hobby and leisure club for young Black millenials who are ready to unplug from the algorithm and reconnect with themselves and one another.We romanticize Black leisure — with events that feel like a modern-day vintage dream: think Crooklyn nostalgia, country club athleisure, and the elegance of Black joy in motion.We’re starting with tennis — our “First Serve” — but this is just the beginning. From Golf on the Green, and garden brunches, to whiskey & WIne nights, and creative play, Recess En Noire is about reclaiming play as a practice of rest, community, and cultural pride.Join us in reclaiming joy, one season at a time.
