Who we areROEST is a Norwegian start-up established in 2014. Our team is dedicated to developing and manufacturing innovative products for the coffee industry, increasing quality in the cup and efficiency in the workflow.ROEST’s current portfolio includes two AI-powered hybrid coffee roaster models designed for quality control. ROEST Sample Roaster has received several industry awards and even helped coffee enthusiasts to succeed in the World Coffee Championships. In 2023 we will launch a new production roaster for small to medium-sized roasteries.Since 2018 we have sold over 1000 roasters to more than 80 countries worldwide. What started as a master's thesis became a fast-growing, open-minded company with an international team dedicated to improving coffee.Our storyOur story started in 2013 when our founders demonstrated the results of a master thesis to Tim Wendelboe and Morten Wennersgaard from Nordic Approach, two significant figures in the coffee scene in Norway. Tim and Morten challenged us to create a better sample roaster for the coffee industry.We took on the challenge of making the world's best sample roaster. Our subjective conclusion is that we succeeded but are still dedicated to improving the design and functionality.
