Your Yoga of Central Mass with Mandy Normandin RYT200Mandy is passionate about creating a safe space for everyBODY to practice. She became increasingly aware that all who want to participate find it inaccessible. She earnestly seeks out spaces to teach that are fundamentally and radically inclusive (YMCA), and provides yoga by using a donation based model. Mandy has been practicing Yoga intermittently since the late ‘90’s. With the adoption of a daily practice in July 2020, she became aware of the countless benefits and desired a deeper study of this spiritual practice. She completed her Registered Yoga Teacher Training from Practice Yoga Austin, Austin Tx, under Rey Cardenas; training in Iyengar Yoga (alignment yoga); a type of Hatha yoga focusing on the correct alignment of the body, making use of straps, blocks, and other props as aids in achieving the correct postures thus making it highly accessible to all individuals. She has a specialized certification in Yin Yoga and currently enrolled at the Kripalu School of Yoga 500 hour teacher certification.
