Ciara-Lucy ForrestSenior Speech Pathologist & Clinical SupervisorCiara-Lucy Forrest is a highly experienced senior speech pathologist with a passion for supporting individuals with complex communication, eating, drinking, and behavioural needs. Ciara-Lucy offers clinical supervision to new and experienced clinicians, both online and in-person. With a career spanning over 12 years, she has held key roles including Senior Speech Pathologist at Belong Health and the Autism Association, and P3 Speech Pathologist in the Northern Territory Department of Education. She is also an Augmentative and Alternative Communication specialist (AAC) having worked as an AAC consultant at Liberator and other organisations supporting individuals with complex communication needs. Ciara-Lucy is dedicated to enhancing the participation and quality of life for individuals with communication needs. She brings her extensive experience to her private practice, Ciara-Lucy Forrest Therapy, where she continues to provide evidence-based interventions and clinical supervision to allied health professionalsTasha AlachTasha Alach, is an Occupational Therapist with extensive experience leading large multidisciplinary teams of Early Childhood and Primary Teachers, Education Assistants, Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Psychologists. Tasha has developed best practice frameworks that have been implemented across multiple programs, to maximise outcomes for children with autism. Tasha has been involved in several expert advisory committees on autism and education and has inputted to the recent Parliamentary enquiry into improving outcomes for students with Autism. Tasha is passionate about creating the best learning opportunities for students with diverse learning needs so they can thrive and fulfil their dreams.Over 25 years of dedicated practical experience setting up and operating multiple Early Intervention programs including childcare and working across many school and educational settings both in Australia and overseas, Tasha has simple and practical strategies that can support educators, to support all students with autism to access the curriculum, have positive learning experiences and enjoy coming to school.Tasha has been a great support for the teachers and education assistants across our school. Tash has supported us to maximise opportunities for learning through adapting the environment and integrating individualised visual and sensory supports to maximise educational achievements.
