Swapping Social Club is founded on the mission to change our behaviour when it comes to fashion to something much healthier for the planet and also for ourselves. We want to shift to a way of staying stylish that doesn't feed demand for cheap, unjust, and damaging products. Instead enabling everyone better access to all the wonderful clothes that already exist (enough to dress the next six generations might I add!). More than this, we want to create community around pursuing more positive behaviours, so that we can all feel better about ourselves as well as the impact we're having on this planet. The fashion industry currently has such an opposite effect on us, not only encouraging damaging consumption behaviours, but pitting us against each other and ourselves in the pursuit of ultimate style and beauty, the standard for which expands and shifts every time we blink. We're here to change that, one swap at a time :D.
