Event EndedSweden's Midsummer 10k Virtual Race

Date of Challenge: 22nd and 23rd June 2024

In this cherished tradition, Sweds erect and decorate giant maypoles. It is common for Sweds to dress up in costumes and folk dance around these maypoles. There are also food, music and even parades.

Whilst the summer solstice celebrates the beginning of the astronomical summer, Midsummer refers to numerous celebrations that are held over the solstice period, between June 19 and June 24, with both Pagan and Christian origins.

WHAT’S INVOLVED?

Run, walk or jog 10k on 22nd and 23rd June 2024. We accept treadmill activities.
