The Edmonton (Northern Gateway) Section of the IES is a volunteer professional membership organization made up of individuals within the lighting community in Northern Alberta.Our purpose is to improve the lighted environment by bringing together those in the local lighting industry and translating that knowledge into actions that benefit the public.ABOUT THE ILLUMINATING ENGINEERING SOCIETY OF NORTH AMERICAIES is the oldest and largest educational and scientific society in North America devoted to lighting. A broad variety of programs, including publications, conferences and seminars, have been established to accomplish this mission.
