THAMES OXFORD ACADEMY CHARITY FUN RUN 2025

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. GENERAL

1.1. Thames Oxford Academy Charity Run 2025 ("Event") is organized by Thames Oxford Academy in collaboration with Multigrain Event Sdn Bhd ("Organizers").
1.2. By registering for this Event, participants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
1.3. The Event will take place at Dataran DBKL  (Start & Finish), 20 April  2025.
1.4. The Organizers reserve the right to modify these terms, event details, or cancel the event if necessary.

2. ELIGIBILITY

2.1. The Event is open to individuals of all ages.
2.2. Participants below 18 years must obtain parental/guardian consent.
2.3. Individuals with medical conditions should consult a doctor before participating.

3. REGISTRATION

3.1. Registration opens in March 2025 and will close once slots are full.
3.2. Participants must provide accurate details during registration.
3.3. Entry for the event is free however particiant can choose to donate to selected Charity Home as Benefeciary
3.4. Confirmation emails will be sent upon successful registration.

4. RACE CATEGORIES & RULES

4.1. The Event consists of two categories:

• 7KM Run
• 5KM Run & Walk
  4.2. Participants must wear their official race bibs at all times.
  4.3  The Organizers reserve the right to disqualify participants who fail to adhere to race rules.

5. SAFETY & LIABILITY

5.1. Participants take part at their own risk. The Organizers are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or loss of property.
5.2. Medical personnel will be stationed along the route. Participants must seek medical help if needed.
5.3. Participants must follow traffic rules and marshals’ instructions at all times.

6. RACE PACK COLLECTION

6.1. Race packs ( bibs) must be collected at the designated location before the event from 6 am onwards on 20 April 2025
6.2. Participants who fail to collect their race packs within the stipulated time

7. CANCELLATION & FORCE MAJEURE

7.1. The Organizers reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the Event due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, natural disasters, government restrictions).

8. DATA PROTECTION & MEDIA RIGHTS

8.1. By participating, runners grant the Organizers permission to use photos/videos taken during the event for promotional purposes.
8.2. Personal data collected will only be used for event-related purposes and will be handled per applicable data protection laws.

9. ENTITLEMENTS

9.1. All participants will receive:

• Finisher Medal
• Refreshments
  9.2. Only participants who complete the run will be eligible for the entitlements.
