Founded in 2023, the New York Korean Creative Music Association has led the research and development of new music, as well as creative activities across various genres and cultures. On October 18, 2023, the association hosted the 1st NY Korean New Art Song Festival at Chodae Church in New Jersey, and on May 18, 2024, it organized the 2nd NY Korean New Art Song Festival, advancing the study of creative music. The association has been dedicated to promoting and cultivating the activities of global composers, performers, and artists.The NY Korean New Art Song Festival, with the participation of over 10 writers and 10 Korean composers, blended Korean poetic sentiment with music, earning praise and admiration from the audience.Through continuous research and planning, the New York Korean Creative Music Association will continue to release new works and hold ongoing performances to promote Korean culture and further globalize Korean sentiment.
