MVP Training is a youth basketball training program run by 2 TCU students, Bobby Deftos and Dylan Lafferty. Bobby is a business student and a basketball manager within the Men’s Program at TCU. Bobby played 10 years of competitive basketball in his hometown of Hinsdale, Illinois and has coached on the Prep Hoops Circuit and within IHSA athletics for the past 2 years. Bobby founded MVP Training in 2022 and has worked with over 35 families in the Chicagoland area. Dylan Lafferty is a business student at TCU from Bedford, NH. Dylan has played competitive basketball for 9 years, with 3 AAU programs, 3 years of varsity experience, and 1 state championship. Dylan has also extensively coached motivated athletes at the youth level.Our mission is to teach the life lessons we learned through the sport of basketball to the next generation of youth athletes, captured by our motto: "Beyond the Game."
