Shake on the Lakeis a non-for-profit professional theatre company that specializes in performer-driven, fast, fun, physical theatre to create simple spectacle onstage (and off).  Based in Silver Lake, NY,  Shake on the Lake advocates and acts ascreative place-makers in underserved rural communities in Western New York State, hosting a full year of programming including Summer Shakespeare Tour, Winter Performances, and Educational Programming.Our missionis to use theatre and the performing arts to inspire and re-imagine community through performance, education, and creative placemaking.  We specialize in serving rural communities and underserved populations in the Silver Lake, NY region, by bringing high-quality professional theatre productions and innovative arts education programming to the community.
