This webinar will help participants develop awareness of best-practice techniques involved in planning and conducting personal interviews.

As a qualitative method, interviewing can generate wonderfully rich and nuanced data, but it requires considerable social, listening and questioning skills. This session is designed to help participants develop awareness of some of the best-practice techniques involved. We will provide a grounding in the principles of semi-structured and in-depth interviewing, to help participants plan their interview structure and approach. The session will also briefly cover relevant issues around recording, transcription and analysis.
