A quick introduction to myself;My name is Megan and I'm a fast-paced mother of four who lives in a world where hidden toxins are everywhere. While listening to a podcast last fall, My eyes were opened to what the scented candle burning on my countertop really was, and I was shocked to learn what it was secretly doing to my environment, to my family and potentially to their health. It was layered with hidden carcinogens and toxins I unknowingly invited into my home. Burning traditional candles, meant I was using petroleum-based products with numerous toxins, which studies have shown, can have significant effects on our bodies, effectively poisoning our endocrine systems.I had two choices; stop burning candles or find a safer alternative. Who thought this would have turned into such a passionate and exciting experience; I'm eager to share with everyone.Since then, I've made it a mission to create a cleaner burning scented candle, which uplifts and enhances the senses. I thrive on making the commitment to a cleaner environment for myself and my children. I use only ethically sourced Natural Vegan Soy Wax and all my fragrance oils are Phthalate free, infused with natural essential oils and even go through rigorous testing to achieve a status of "clean scents", making them as clean and safe as possible.Follow along to see what's next on Instagram, @brookmancandleco
