DJ Waffles, a Brooklyn-born resident of Atlanta, is widely regarded as one of the best DJs in the southern region. He started his career as an engineer at Be100 Radio and taught himself to master the 1s and 2s, mastering multiple genres of music for large crowds. His friendly personality helped him develop relationships that led to career-changing opportunities, including hosting the top-rated show for breaking independent artists on the East Coast. DJ Waffles has appeared on several TV shows, including "Growing Up Hip Hop ATL," "Love and Hip Hop ATL," and "The Voice." He has also toured with Kash Doll, Johnni Blaze, and Cyrus Smith as their official DJ. DJ Waffles has worked with Monster Headphones at major music festivals such as A3C and SXSW. He has DJed for Dwight Howard, Kent Bazemore, Waka Flocka, Desi Banks, and the WNBA team "The Atlanta Dream." In addition to DJing, DJ Waffles is an A&R host and host of his podcast, "The Padded Room." He has candid conversations with the industry’s most influential tastemakers, executives, artists, politicians, and creatives through this platform. He has also worked as an on-air host for Hip Hop Weekly Radio and a daily show on 89.3 called “The Show ATL.” DJ Waffles recently started his own line of waffle mixes and has served over 1200 guests and 800 bags of mix. DJ Waffles' focus is to continue to contribute to the culture by providing the industry with his greatest gift, helping others propel in music through DJing, hosting panels, curating his Sweet 16 Playlist (mainly composed of independent artists), Official Waffles Weekend, and A&R consulting. He is currently executive producing and hosting his podcast, “The Padded Room,” as well as serving as the resident DJ and event coordinator for Morris Brown, the resident DJ at Krush Atlanta, and Lily of Buckhead.
