If there ever was a different kind of comedian, Atul Patel is one. He’s an Indian-American, originally from Cleveland but based in Minneapolis, who is older and funnier than he looks. Atul is a two-time top-five finisher in the ACME Funniest Person in The Twin Cities Contest in 2019 and 2022. Look for lots of laughs with clever three or four-liner jokes that mostly try to make a point about being Indian, being vegetarian and dating, but are sometimes plain ridiculous.Atul and his veteran comedian friend, KJ The Comedian (Kelechi Jaavaid) have joined forces. Leveraging Atul's marketing background and KJ's connections, they started producing comedy shows in May of 2024 and now they produce shows with a wide variety of comedians nearly monthly.
