I wasn’t ready. But I did it anyways!!For over a decade, my identity was in corporate medical device sales. And I was pretty damn good at it. Although I hit some pretty big achievements and landed my dream “title”, I still had a fire in my belly to work for myself and invest in myself. And throughout my career I was know as the queen of connecting and networking. I was obsessed with getting to know everyone and learning their story. It made my job really easy and actually never really felt like work. I actually ended up with the cell number of the CEO of the Medtech company I was working for bc we had both grown up in small towns in Northwest Indiana. I guess I always had an energy and way of making shit happen.I was also the go to for IDEAS. I am THAT “ideas girl”. I must have come up with over 20 business ideas since I started writing them down in 2018! But I loved my identity in medical devices and never had the guts to start my own thing…. until I did.Earlier this year I had the opportunity to pivot. I could continue with the corporate ladder or I could go all in on myself. I chose MYSELF!I first started consulting for myself last year and that was my first taste of entrepreneurship.I then started going to a bunch of networking events… but I couldn’t find a community that loved the hustle and business talk as much as I did. Anyone who knows me knows I love the hustle. So I started thinking about all the things that I love and my passions …how could I turn it all into a business?I also have an extensive network throughout Australia and America and I lived in the UK and Papua New Guinea. So I have all these amazing people I have ‘collected’ over the years in my mental rolodex. I then wondered how I could turn my love of travel into this said business…. And VOILÀ!WLTH WLKS is born!! Officially registered as a business April 2024. To say I’m proud of myself is an understatement. I’m beyond excited and obsessed with this business.WLTH WLKS is a global networking brand for female entrepreneurs. The walks bring together like-minded women to share ideas, brainstorm business challenges and overall help elevate each other’s businesses! Our global ambassador program will allow members to host the networking WLKS in their respective locations and connect business owners around the world. The WLTH WLK membership offers an online marketplace to sell digital assets and products to its wider network. I truly believe your net worth is your net-work. And now I get to help so many female business owners achieve their dreams by living out my passion of being a true dot connector.Thanks for coming on this journey with me.
