MISSION:Uplift adventure retreats and personal development's mission is to promote growth in mind, body and spirit through adventure, activity, conversation, connection and nutrition.Julie Miller, MA, LPC is a licensed counselor, an athlete and an all around promoter of women's health and empowerment. She has 16 years experience in the fitness industry, providing group fitness instruction at Lifetime Fitness and also has worked for 25 yrs in education, with 17 of those years as a counselor. Over the years, she continued to engage more and build more in the area of girl's and women's empowerment in her practice. In her personal growth, Julie has found that in launching herself into her wildest dreams of travel and adventure and pushing herself outside of her comfort zone helped her realize her own strength, and fine tune her self love and confidence. As she began to share her passion and adventure with friends, she dreamed of expanding to this to a platform to help other women learn, grow, love and support one another in the process.It's easy to see that the passion held for fitness, wellness, education and personal growth has led her pursue sharing her love in a fusion format! As a result, Uplift Adventure Retreats has a mission is to combine fun activities, while uplifting our mind, body and spirits.
