Katrin Den Elzen (PhD) is an experienced Writing for Wellbeing facilitator, author and researcher. She works as a grief counsellor for the Grief Centre of WA and teaches Writing for Wellbeing at Murdoch University for counselling students. Katrin has a doctorate in Creative Writing.In 2021 Katrin designed and undertook a Writing for Wellbeing research study with bereaved participants with Curtin University. in 2023 she has also published a textbook on Writing for Wellbeing.Katrin has personally experienced the processing of her traumatic grief to finding peace and purpose following the death of her husband. She has published the grief memoir "Locked In – Daring to Break Free", which set her on the path to becoming a Writing-for-wellbeing practioner and researcher.At 39, Katrin Den Elzen has a charmed life.
