We understand writers, and the quiet magic sometimes needed to allow words to flow. After decades of supporting writers we know that to write a story buried in your heart, you need to remove yourself from ordinary life. All types of writers are welcome into these immersions into the world of story and creativity, from people writing their first novel to experienced creators of non-fiction books.The current list is below and we add more as the year progresses or as the muse takes us to new and magical places.​The Writing Room provides a structured system to help writers who want to become authors. We build a relationship through this creative process by community, connections and friendship. At the end of our process, and if you really commit to it, ​you will have a book ready to submit or to publish.Sarah Bullenis a multi-published author, international writing coach and literary agent. Founder of The Writing Room and Kent Literary, she has had over 100 books published by writers she has mentored. As well as being a regular guest on talk shows, podcasts and writers’ circles, Sarah has been leading international writing retreats and adventures for the past decade."I know after working with and teaching over 1,000 authors over 17 years that writing a book is both a deeply creative journey, and an investment in your future. We can start at any point in the writing process
