Our missionis to foster a vibrant community of individuals who share Brazilian values, language, and culture. Through engaging events and activities, we aim to build strong connections, celebrate our heritage, and support the integration of our members into the broader community.Some ofour objectivesare: To create a welcoming environment where Brazilian community members can connect and support one another; To organize cultural events that celebrate and promote Brazilian traditions and values and to offer resources and support for those looking to integrate into the local community while preserving their cultural identity.We plan on hosting cultural festivals/ meetings that showcase Brazilian music, dance, and cuisine. These events aim to celebrate Brazilian traditions and offer opportunities for community members to share their heritage with others; hold social gatherings that will provide informal settings for members to connect, network, and build friendships. These events will also include activities like potlucks, game nights, and discussion groups.We are hoping to be able to hold in the future, regular workshops to teach Brazilian Portuguese to kids and partners and discuss cultural practices. These workshops are designed to help members improve their language skills and deepen their understanding of Brazilian culture.Together in partnership with Cultura, we plan on offering support programs such as mentorship for new immigrants and information sessions on navigating local services. These programs are intended to help members integrate more smoothly into the community.We will actively collaborate with local organizations, schools, and businesses to promote our events and extend our reach. Additionally, we will encourage feedback from our members to continually improve our offerings and ensure they meet the community’s needs.Join us in our mission to celebrate and strengthen our Brazilian community.
