Yoruba in Taiwan is for people committed to showcasing and preserving Yoruba culture with pride and authenticity.While the group has been active for a long time, this year marks a significant milestone: the first-ever Yoruba Day in Taiwan! In the past, we’ve staged plays that depict the richness of Yoruba traditions. Earlier this year, a Yoruba-themed play was performed at the theater in Ximen, drawing attention to the depth of our heritage.But Yoruba Day is much more than just a play; it’s a full celebration of everything Yoruba! It’s about art, music, dance, and, of course, our delicious cuisine. This event is a vibrant tapestry of culture, showcasing the beauty, creativity, and flavors that make the Yoruba heritage so unique.
