About

We are AJ and Amanda Aswegan. We met in high school, dated in college, and married in 2002. We have EIGHT kids from age 21 to age 10 and are enjoying our 23rd year of marriage!When we got engaged in early 2002 we were eager to find resources that would equip us to have the best marriage possible. We attended our first Weekend to Remember in Des Moines and the rest is history. We found the WTR to be so helpful and impactful that we kept going back. We eventually joined the local team for the Des Moines Weekend to Remember and have served for almost fifteen years by promoting the conference, greeting and encouraging the couples who attend the weekend, and joining our teammates in praying for each couple during the weekend event.In 2023, God opened the door for AJ to go on staff with FamilyLife, a division of Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ). We are now raising support so that he can begin serving full time. We are so excited to serve in a ministry that has made such an impact on our family.
