THE FANCY STUFF:I am a counsellor, lover of dance, nature lover and sound healer. I'm an accredited mental health social worker and hold a Bachelor of Music Degree.I am a qualified Soul Motion Conscious Dance Teacher; having completed my teacher training with inspirational teachers Winky Wheeler and Michael Molin-Skelton across 2021 to 2022. In 2018, I also completed the 10 day Open Floor Therapy in Motion training with Andrea Juhan.THE REAL STUFF:Above all these things, I am a human being, with a body, mind and spirit... and I am continually learning and seeking a deeper connection with the world and people around me.Since 2015, Conscious Dance has provided me with a rich and fertile practice that support's my personal growth, keeps me fluid, and brings me joy.I feel privileged to have been inspired by many wonderful teachers both on and off the dance floor, and am deeply grateful to be able hold space for others to experience the potency of dance as a pathway to renewal, growth and joy.THE ALTERED STATES STUFF:Altered States is my own unique offering of a dance practice that seeks to bring you a deeper integration of mind, body and spirit. Weaving aspects of Ecstatic Dance, Soul Motion and Open Floor with my longstanding passion for music, my deepest wish is to bring you "back home" into the body and into a more connected, flexible and embodied "state of being".
