HarambeeHarnessing Community Unity, Creativity and Resilience...Through Music and Arts.This event is to raise awareness about Mass Incarceration, over-sentencing of Black and Brown Community Members and the mal-treament of Prisoners. As well as to create connection and dialogue between Us all free or locked up. We are One. The outcome is to raise funds for stationary, stamps and hygiene products while getting to know some of the Pen Pals through their creative writings, manifestos and poetry. "Harambee" in Swahili means come together in solidarity/shared resources. Let us come together for this necessary and Just Cause. We're All We Need
