Beech Trauma Academy

The Beech Trauma Academy offers tailored and certified trauma training for any professional who works with trauma, including (student and qualified) counsellors, psychotherapists, art therapists, psychologists, social workers, GP's, psychiatrists, probation officers, nurses and any other mental health professional. All our trauma trainings are taught by qualified, experienced and registered counsellors/ psychotherapists who are trauma specialists in their own right, whilst also holding a teaching qualification. They teach from experience, as well as their knowledge which they accrued through a variety of trauma qualifications.The Beech Trauma Academy offers a 60-hour NCPS Quality Checked Foundation Diploma - Therapeutic Safety in Trauma, which takes place in London, Southend-on-Sea and Online. This training is integrative and experiential in nature and is based on the 3-Phase Trauma Model and polyvagal theory. The training consists of 10 days and covers the 3-Phase Trauma Model, relational safety, creative ways of working in trauma, vicarious trauma & burn-out, suicidal presentation vs. trauma, somatic ways of working, refugees / migrants/ trafficking / exploitation, therapeutic processing & integration and post-traumatic growth.We will soon be offering a 60-hour certified Diploma Trauma-Informed Clinical Supervision, which will take place in Southend-on-Sea.
