My name is Jeanette Dickens and I am the President / Founder of Books For Birthdays, Inc.Books For Birthdays, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to providing new personalized books to children in foster care on their birthdays, in hopes of fostering a life-long interest in reading. Since its inception, Books For Birthdays, Inc. has proudly distributed thousands of brand-new books to children served by the North Carolina Department of Social Services Foster Care Program. Each book represents a moment of joy, a spark of imagination, and a message to each child that they are seen, valued, and celebrated.
