Brittany created Brighter Way Forward to bring educational and healthy community events to neighborhoods, organizations, and communities. Working in mental health since 2009, Brittany feels go-to local healthcare is simply not creating enough impact, can be too expensive and high risk, leaves individuals and families to harbor the burden of common symptoms alone, and outdated treatment models or one-on-one therapy are typically the only options for help. Her vision includes building inclusive communities, empowering youth, and sharing her knowledge with people of all ages to create healthier and more mindful living.Brittany spent 6 years as a SU Counselor, Program Manager and Consultant; 6 years working internationally as a coach and interventionist to individuals and families in crisis, and the past 4 years working in communities and not-for-profit social and mental health initiatives.Brittany is a student, Assistant Teacher in training, and leadership team member at One Breath Institute. She certified in Introspective Breathwork™ Therapy in 2023 after 2 years of personal and professional training. Brittany serves on the 2025 SHFT Leadership Team at SeekHealing where she is also a Program Representative, certified Social Health professional, and facilitator of Connection Practice Meetings and Listening Training.Brittany is pursuing a Master of Divinity because she believes joy is not only our birthright, but an individuals spirit in its fullest expression. Brittany is a Lifelong Learner, a musician, amateur chef, lover of pop music first, amateur survivalist, and loves improv and the arts.Brittany is certified and trained in the following areas: Introspective Breathwork™ Therapy, Social Health Facilitation, Listening Training, Recovery Specialist and CCAR Recovery Coaching, Johnson Model of Intervention, Tara Brach’s RAIN, Radical Self-Compassion, Usui Reiki and Energetic Leadership.Brittany is currently receiving education in the following areas: Master of Divinity and Spiritual Counseling, and Trauma-Conscious Yoga Method™.
