Carla started her fitness career as a personal trainer working at a gym, eventually building up an independent client base then hosting small group straining sessions and bootcamp sessions.Carla attended UC Berkeley for undergrad, California State Dominguez Hills for Graduate School and graduating May 2023 with a Masters of Education in Curriculum Instruction. For many year Carla worked as a fitness trainer, substitute teacher before becoming a fulltime PE Teacher.Outside of fitness, Carla found interest in hosting events after realizing her talent of gathering like minded groups of women in one room. Some of the workshops and events she hosted include topics on homeownership, visionboard, games nights, dating and relationship chats. Over the years Carla found herself being a community connecter.She is passion about wellness, community and women empowerment. Carla also enjoys learning about culture through music, food and cultural events. You can find Carla dancing to Soca or Afrobeats, frequenting a black owned coffee shop or networking at a community mixer.One thing Carla wants to do more of this year and the years to come is to travel and experience the world through connecting with people of different cultures.If this sounds great to you, signup to attend one or many of the events I put on in the community.
