The Connected Health & Wellbeing Cluster, based at DkIT, was created as part of the Project Ireland 2040 Government initiative which identified an ambition to build twelve Sectoral Clusters of Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) at regional level. The Clusters’ objectives include increasing engagement and connectivity with SMEs in particular, and industry generally, in line with the academic host’s research and educational remit, thereby strengthening enterprise productivity.The development of enterprise clustering specifically focus on:1. Fostering increased SME productivity;2. Driving SME competitiveness;3. Supporting internationalisation activity.CHW Cluster was formally launched on November 2021 and, currently has 50 members across industry, academia, healthcare, and the public sector.
