Demetra Bradley of Foxy Defense and Protection

Demetra Bradley is a graduate of Sam Houston State University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice. Shortly after that she received a Master of Science in Criminal Justice degree from University of Cincinnati, with a concentration on Law Enforcement and Crime Prevention. Demetra also enlisted in the United States Army Reserve as a Civil Affairs Specialist, where she served as a Sergeant for 8 years. With over 15 years of combined experience, Demetra has led and served on numerous local and national organizations, initiatives, and advisory boards to help others in her community develop their full potential.After entering the intense world of law enforcement, Demetra continues to work hard to become the change she wants to see in her community. Demetra is a leader, uses her authority and position as a force of good, and ensures justice will be done. No matter what the situation, she vows to continue to progress her passion of growing self-confidence through personal safety and security.As owner of Foxy Defense and Protection, LLC, Demetra offers a unique perspective as a woman and law enforcement professional on self defense, violence towards women, and the mindset of an attacker. Because of that she strives to incorporate martial arts practices and self defense tactics, with a hint of law enforcement into her curriculum and teaching practices.Demetra has also developed a passion for motivational and informational speaking, addressing safety, self-worth, and other various topics.Demetra is married to the love of her life and looks forward to their future together. In her spare time, Demetra likes to “pin,” work out, and spend time with her family and friends. She also enjoys volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Texas where she has had the pleasure of being a Big Sister for young girls in her community. Demetra’s favorite quote is, “I have discovered in life that there are ways of getting almost anywhere you want to go, if you really want to go” by Langston Hughes.
