My name is Gemma. I am a facilitator and I create spaces which are joyful, as safe as possible and allow you freedom to be. My recent creation is Sober rave sessions. This has been a long time coming and I am so excited to share this with you.As someone who was brought up with music on in the house and a mother who was first up to dance and last to sit down at any family do, dancing was in my bones. I started gigging and going to raves in my teens and 20's which spiralled into addiction to alcohol and drugs.When I started to recover I missed live music and found Ecstatic dance - places to dance unaided. I fell in love all over again and when I moved back to the Midlands I wanted to bring this to the local community.After trialling Ecstatic dance and Move my body sessions, Sober rave sessions was born, which feels very true to me and what I can offer. Sober rave sessions is a place for you to listen to the music you love, wear fancy dress if that's your bag (totally not compulsory) and allow yourself the freedom to move in whatever way you please.If you would like to know more about me and my accolades, please ask (you can also check me out on LinkedIn).
