My name is HyeJin Yu. I am a voice and sound meditation guide, song circle facilitator, composer and the founder of Ground in Sound, a method that invites joyful exploration of sound as a path to deep connection and presence. Rooted in a spiritual calling from the Goddess, my work blends vocal meditation, vibrational sound therapy, and chants to awaken inner wisdom and restore harmony within. With a background in classical voice, music, and writing, my journey has been shaped by personal healing, a profound spiritual awakening in India, and years of training in sound practices. With a vivacious energy and heartfelt presence, I create spaces where voices come alive, energies shift, and transformation unfolds through the power of sound. Based in San Mateo, California, I guide others in reclaiming their voices, trusting their resonance, and stepping into their own healing through sacred sound and community singing.
