About

Incorporated in 1989 as a registered charity, the Hanover and District Hospital Foundation (HDHF) inspires our community to invest in in our first class hospital. All funds raised through our organization directly benefit patient programs, equipment purchases, staff education, and renovations, with the main goal of enhancing patient care at the Hanover and District Hospital.The Foundation consists of a dedicated and qualified group of local volunteer board members who are committed to improving healthcare in Hanover and the surrounding areas as well as an entire community of supporters. We rely on the generosity of volunteers and donors alike to fulfill our mission and are humbled and grateful of what can be achieved when we work together for the good.In addition to the HDHF Gala and Auction, Brew Side Bingo, and CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon, the Foundation generates funding through a variety of initiatives including appeal campaigns, planned giving, tribute gifts, and grant proposals. The Foundation is always looking to add new initiatives and programming and welcomes your unique ideas.
