The Hot Mess Players perform original comedies that humorously explore the madness of modern life. Elaine Alexander is the writer/director/producer of The Hot Mess Players, a local theatre troupe, who have performed her one and two act comedies, murder mysteries and more throughout the Carolinas at venues ranging from community theatres to dinner theatres, from breweries to ballrooms, from tiny fringe theatre stages to the historic 300 seat Sumter Opera House.
