Innovation High School is located in Spokane’s University District at 811 E. Sprague Avenue, and is a tuition-free, public choice school serving grades 9–12.At Innovation, students engage in hands-on, project-based learning designed to foster critical thinking, creativity, and real-world problem solving. Students fulfill all Washington State graduation requirements in core academic areas (English, math, science, social studies, world language, physical education) alongside vocational electives and specialized pathways.Unique features of our school include:Student-run enterprises such as The Grind coffee shop and a PNW-themed boutique, giving students firsthand experience in business operations.Arts, media, and design programs in areas like fashion, filmmaking, visual arts, and music, all integrated with academic learning.A culture grounded in inclusion, relationship-based teaching, and student voice, ensuring every individual is valued and supported.Our faculty are certified educators and passionate mentors who aim to guide, challenge, and support students’ growth academically, socially, and creatively.We prepare students not just for graduation, but to thrive in college, careers, and as engaged members of their communities.
