JG Events

Krystal Wertman is the creator of JG events . She is the founder of the In A Pickle Festival in Kingwood and New Braunfels. Lake Houston Farmer's Market, Kingwood Anime Festival. JG events also manages Kingwood's July 4th parade, Bark in the Park, Mardi Gras Parade, Christmas and Easter events in Town Center Park.As a mother of 5 Krystal was trying to find a way to work and be a mom. So she created 'The Jelly Girl'. She worked at the Kingwood Farmer's market making jelly and pickles. That's where the name JG events came from.After Hurricane Harvey, the town of Kingwood was severely flooded. Thousands of homes, businesses and lives were affected. Like all Texans would, the community came together and started rebuilding . It took years to clean up the damages, but the memory of the destruction will forever be etched in out minds. During the recovery, Krystal created the In a Pickle Festival to help bring some liveliness back to Kingwood. The first festival ended up being a bigger success than anyone could ever imagine. So she kept working towards growing the festival and other creating new events.
