About

Our founder sought yoga as a healing modality from athletic injuries. She found Baron Baptiste in his 1st studio in Cambridge Mass. and became a believer in yoga. Certified to teach Hatha Yoga in 2003, she adapted that knowledge to teach power vinyasa here in Tulum, MX. More recently she’s fallen in love with Yin and a Yin Yang practice for their healing powers and accessibility. She studied Yin with YumJi in 2017 and with Sarah Powers’ Insight Yoga in 2023. She loves exploring deeply into the layers of our physical, emotional and energetic bodies and believes we can create peace on earth beginning with ourselves. She also teaches meditation, pranayama, restorative yoga and vinyasa here at Tribal.
