A native of Miami Beach, Jonny Saldana has a rich background in musical theater, opera, political activism, and LGBTQ fundraising. Currently, he serves as the Director of Events and Membership at the Tabbris Innovation Center in Charlotte, the premier hub for startups, technologists, futurists, venture capitalists, and philanthropists. As an LGBTQ activist, Jonny is dedicated to creating a welcoming and diverse environment, building a safe and enjoyable space for the LGBTQ community in Charlotte, where he now resides.In his spare time, Jonny serves as the Executive Director and Co-Founder of the Charlotte Gaymers Network. This LGBTQ organization promotes diversity and inclusion in the gaming community in Charlotte by hosting tournaments, events, panel discussions, podcasts, and more. Jonny is passionate about providing a space for LGBTQ gamers and their allies to connect and build relationships. From Carolina to California, the Charlotte Gaymers Network has created best-in-class activations and events at major gatherings and conventions across the continental United States. He is committed to further expanding the organization's reach and advocating for its important work in the Greater Charlotte Area and beyond.
